Not only does Serenitol claim to help you sleep better, it claims it is a solution to the following problems:
- TMJ / TMD
- Fibromyalgia (FMS)
- Polymyalgia Rheumatica
- Bruxism (Grinding/Clenching Teeth)
- Daily Headaches
- Tinnitus
- Hyperacusis
- Central Sleep Apnea (non-obstructive)
- Insomnia, Parasomnia & Hypersomnia
- Sleep Hyperhydrosis (Night Sweats)
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)
- Sleep Deprivation
- Anxiety/Stress
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
It is ridiculous to assume one product could actually help all of these conditions, period.
Serenitol Ingredients and Research
- Inositol
- Valerian Root
- Gamma Amino Butyric Acid
- Kava Kava
- Lupulin
- Glutamic Acid
- Magnesium
- Niacinamide
- Passion Flower
- Thiamine HCl
- 5-Hydroxy Tryptophan
Generally this formula contains the biggest names in herbal sleep supplements. These herbs generally are used for calming and may help some get to sleep faster. For most people the effect is likely to be mild, but the product is better than expected at least in terms of aiding sleep. As for the other claims there is no research to back them up.
Serenitol Side Effects
There are generally no serious side effects indicated with this formula, though some studies have shown a potential correlation between kava kava and liver failure.
Serenitol Value
It appears as though this product has been discontinued, though at any price the information on this product leads me to say it won’t be worth the cost.
Serenitol Bottom Line
There just isn’t enough good information (though there is a lot of bad information) about this product to recommend it. The company’s claims are bogus. I don’t recommend Serenitol.
