Rozerem
Will Rozerem help you Sleep Better?
Rozerem is a prescription sleep aid that has come on the market fairly recently. It works somewhat differently than other sleep-aids, but given the risks involved it may worry you enough to make it harder to sleep.
Rozerem Ingredients and Research
The active ingredient, Ramelteon, is a newly developed compound that mimics the effects of natural hormones involved in healthy sleep patterns. As it is a fairly new compound, many of the side effects and even its actual effectiveness are still unknown. I’m not saying the product is not to be trusted, but I would not jump at the chance to be the tester for a product like this.
Rozerem Side Effects
A few of the known side-effects are:
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Runny nose, stuffy nose, sore throat.
The actual Rozerem website explains that the “symptoms of a Rozerem overdose are not known.” It also urges any new negative side-effects to be reported to your doctor. Why should you be the guinea pig?
Rozerem Value
The initial 30 tablet bottles of Rozerem are selling for $105. This is an extremely expensive shot in the dark if you ask me, especially considering the health risks. The prices get gradually cheaper with larger quantities, but the hassle to even try out the product may not be worth the time and money for the first bottle.
Rozerem Bottom Line
The risk involved combined with the questionable effectiveness and the pain of getting a prescription are all considerable burdens. Though this product has been known to work for some, there are much more reliable and natural alternatives out there. I do not recommend Rozerem.
