Will Compoz help you Sleep Better?

Compoz is an over-the-counter antihistamine that is also used to treat motion sickness and many cold symptoms.  Many who take medications like Benadryl notice that it has a similar sedative effect and that’s the kind of benefit you’re getting with Compoz – drowsiness.

Compoz Ingredients and Research

The drug is known as diphenhydramine and as an antihistamine has been known to be effective for a number of symptoms.  There is little question that it is indeed effective at making you drowsy.

The most common side effects are:

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness

Compoz Value

This product is invariably cheap and a box of 24 soft gels can run you about $5.  However, drowsiness can be a lot different than good sleep.  As antihistamines are meant to treat a number of other symptoms, long-term use may cause you some other problems.  Its generally a good value, but not necessarily the best option.

Compoz Bottom Line

As mentioned, drowsiness doesn’t always equate with a good-night’s sleep.  For that reason I am not convinced this is really the right strategy to help you towards a natural and healthy sleep pattern.  It’s cheap, but I don’t recommend it.
